World records

World record longest my world track

Definition: the length of the my world track is measured by the longest distance a train can travel on unadapted my world track sections without changing direction or using the same piece of track twice.

This means that track sections may not have been shortened and that crossings and switches may be travelled only once.

The current record is 43,61 meters (243 sections of track),
and is set in December 17th  2017 in the Hanzehal in Zutphen, Netherlands.

World record longest my world train

Definition: the record is set by counting the number of coupled units (cars, locomotives/engines and battery-cars) traveling at least 10 meters as one set.

Couplings may be constructed to couple more than one engine, but all  units must be part of the original Märklin my world program.

The current record is 40 units (4,73 meters),
and is set in December 16th and 17th 2017 in the Hanzehal in Zutphen, Netherlands.

World record largest C-TRAK layout

Definition: the record is set by counting single C-TRAK modules.

Normally, standard modules – as described on this website – are counted, but different sizes are allowed. The track system used is irrelevant (either C-track, TRIX or my world).

The current record is 70 modules, (18,62 x 1,06 meters)
and is set in December 17th  2017 in the Hanzehal in Zutphen, Netherlands.
